TheDrinkingSociety brought Ramu, George and me to one of those places where I had often passed by but would have never thought of going in. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing odd, sleazy, or unwelcoming about the place, but you know when a pub looks more like an insider place, where recurring guests maybe know each other, have something in common that somehow keeps you away from joining and trying. For me, that it one of the big advantages of TheDrinkingSociety, to bring us exactly to those many places we would otherwise not have gone.
Draft and Craft turned out to be a place of really good beer, we had double IPA free flow, many draft beers, and a good choice of bottles. However, the big winner of the night was the unexpectedly nice and very reasonably priced food. I had this great taste combination of ham, gorgonzola cheese and strawberries in a sandwich for just $14. Excited about the entire menu, we also had a cheese platter, and for only $8 a super delicious so-called deconstructed avocado, a good vegetarian choose of salsa in an avocado.
It is definitely a place where I will return to for the sandwiches.
